Driven by a passion for democratizing data and a belief in data-driven insights to inspire positive social change, Charles Framularo founded Eiger Insights in 2024 after 20 years as a researcher and department lead across a range of industries.
He started his career on the supplier side with Harris Interactive cutting his teeth on research designed for public release for pharmaceutical, healthcare and tech companies such as Pfizer and Disney, then worked at Hall & Partners focusing on brand-related research for QSR's, tech, ad agencies (such as Citrix, eBay and BBDO) and various CPG firms.
From there, Charles moved to the client-side with Laureate Education, building and executing long-term strategic research plans with their global hospitality, art & design schools. He then led the research division at E Source - an energy-industry consultancy focused on sustainability - before taking on a new challenge at Strada Education Foundation of helping non-profits (such as InsideTrack and Roadtrip Nation) tell their impact story through the alignment of social impact research and evaluation with theories of change.
Charles brings a passion for building long-term partnerships to each new engagement, believing that an intentional, well-designed research agenda is core to any business’ success. He approaches his work with a curious, questioning mindset; always asking the question “so what?” and separating the story from the noise. Charles received a MA in Educational Psychology from UCLA and a BA in Psychology from Boston College.
Our Name
In the early 20th century, summiting the north face of the Swiss Eiger was thought to be impossible. When it was finally achieved in 1938, it was a tremendous milestone in mountaineering history, opening up new possibilities in the sport.
Much like these early notions of summiting the Eiger, too often organizations believe that quality market research is out of reach, even when they know that to take their business to the next level they need data-driven insights.
Eiger Insights was founded to open up the research world to the entrepreneurs, the start ups, the mission-driven organizations that reflect our commitment to tackling social challenges, achieving excellence, and driving positive change.
